Supreme Grand Master Ciriaco ‘Cacoy’ Canete


SGM Cacoy Canete is a 12th degree Black Belt and chief instructor of C.D.P.E.W.F.

SGM. Cacoy  is world famous due to his over 100 no rules stick fighting matches in the

1940s, 1950s, and 1960s and is renowned as the best stick fighter in the Doce Pares

system he has also trained in Ju-Jitsu, Boxing, Kung Fu, Judo, Wrestling, Aikido and

Karate all of which he has refined and incorporated in to Cacoy Doce Pares.


SGM. Cacoy was born in 1919 and still travels the world doing seminars today.










Grand Master Vince Palumbo is ranked 9th degree Black Belt and is chief

instructor of the International Combative Martial Arts Academy where he teaches

Cacoy Doce Pares Eskrima, Karate, Boxing and Ju-Jitsu. He travels the world

competing and doing seminars for Martial Artists, Police and Law Enforcement

officials. GMV has also appeared in the movies Final Combat and Confessions

of a Pit Fighter displaying his awesome stick fighting skills.


GMV first met SGM Cacoy over 20 years ago and has been a loyal student ever since.


This partnership has lead to Vince winning more than 10 world stick fighting titles.









Instructor Richard Schultz is the state head of style for Shotokan Karate Budokai

where he teaches traditional Japanese Karate and Cacoy Doce Pares Eskrima.


Richard first met Grand Master Vince in 1995 whilst training in Doce Pares at

the Sydney based club and has been a devotee since. This has lead to Richard

being made the chief instructor for C.D.P.E.W.F Tasmania Branch and is

producing a high standard of Eskrimadors.
